Rheumatoid Factor Test

The Rheumatoid Factor (RF) Test measures levels of rheumatoid factor antibodies in the blood to support evaluation of autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. Elevated RF levels are most commonly associated with rheumatoid arthritis but may also be seen in other connective tissue diseases or certain infections. This test is typically ordered to investigate symptoms such as joint pain, stiffness, or swelling and provides valuable insight into autoimmune activity, inflammatory burden, and joint health to help guide diagnosis and management.
